01.Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our digital platforms, including clients, project managers, storekeepers, contractors, and site workers who interact with our services via the Stavya Mobile App or Web Portal.
Stavya is an enterprise construction management and client transparency solution designed to coordinate architectural workflows, physical construction progress, site attendance, material inventory, and financial milestones.
02.Information We Collect
We collect information that is strictly necessary to deliver construction management services and maintain statutory compliance:
- Account & Profile Information: Name, verified telephone number, email address, role (Client, PM, Storekeeper, Supervisor, Worker), and assigned construction project identifiers.
- Biometric & Camera Data (Worker Face Recognition): When using the Stavya Employee App for daily worker attendance, the app utilizes the device camera and Google ML Kit on-device face recognition technology. The camera captures facial geometry to verify check-in identity.
- Precise Geolocation Data (GPS): During attendance check-in and check-out, the mobile app accesses GPS coordinates to verify that the worker is physically present within the approved geofenced boundary of the construction site.
- Project Photos & Documents: Site progress photos, material delivery receipts, quality cube test reports, and bill receipts uploaded by site engineers, storekeepers, or clients.
- Financial & Transaction Details: Milestone invoices, advance payment references (Bank UTR numbers), and payment confirmation slips submitted for review.
- Device & Usage Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device tokens for push notifications, and crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics).
03.Biometric & Facial Recognition Policy
We treat facial imagery and mathematical biometric embeddings with the highest degree of security in accordance with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and Google Play User Data policies:
- Purpose of Collection: Facial recognition is solely used for authenticating genuine worker presence on construction sites, preventing proxy attendance, and calculating accurate labor wage payouts.
- No Commercial Exploitation: We never sell, rent, commercialize, or share facial data, photos, or biometric templates with third-party advertisers, brokers, or external entities.
- Processing Security: Face alignment and feature extraction are performed securely on-device using ML Kit. Stored vectors are encrypted using enterprise-grade Firebase security controls.
- Retention & Deletion:Biometric facial embeddings are retained only during the worker's active tenure on the designated project. When a worker's employment concludes or an account deletion request is submitted, their face profile is immediately deleted.
04.Location Data & Geofencing
The Stavya App checks GPS location only at the exact moment of check-in or check-out to ensure the worker is physically on-site. We do not track your location continuously in the background when the app is closed.
05.How We Use Your Information
- To facilitate real-time project tracking, milestone updates, and daily site logs.
- To generate verified muster rolls and transparent wage registers for construction workers.
- To track inward and outward material inventory and prevent site pilferage.
- To verify milestone billings, issue formal GST receipts, and manage project balances.
- To maintain audit logs and ensure compliance with municipal and structural engineering regulations.
06.Third-Party Infrastructure & Security
We partner with trusted enterprise cloud infrastructure providers to run our services:
- Google Firebase: Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Storage for secure, encrypted database management and document hosting.
- Google Play Services: For core application updates, security patches, and push notifications.
All data transmitted between mobile devices, our website, and Firebase cloud servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.3 protocol.
07.Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have the right to access, rectify, or request the complete deletion of your account and associated personal data.
You can delete your account and personal data through either of these methods:
- Via Web Portal: Submit an instant request on our Account Deletion Request Page.
- Via Stavya Mobile App: Navigate to Profile → Settings → Account Security → Request Account Deletion.
- Via Email: Send an email to info@stavyadesignconstruction.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and your registered phone number.
Note: Certain statutory records such as historical GST invoices, legal construction contracts, and municipal structural audit logs may be retained for statutory periods required by applicable Indian laws.
